"The Valle Sessera. Where nature has free rein" was created to emphasize the identity of the project, jointly financed by the European Union through the 2000-2006 Piedmont Region DOCUP, known as the Integrated Plan for the development of the Valle Sessera Area and the excellence of its natural features, its landscape, its cultural heritage and the worker traditions.
ASCOM (Biella), in partnership with ASCOM (Vercelli), is the promoter of this project; the other main partners are the Province of Biella, the Biella Chamber of Commerce, the ATL of the Biella area, the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Biella and, of course, the Valle Sessera Mountain Community.
